I’m Not A Hero Don’t be sad I won’t surrender, I’m not a hero I can’t pretend. Unless the clouds block my reason, your pure heart
I will defend. Mysterious soul no story ending, so strong belief; no words can hide. Take this loss that cannot mend, dissolve the thoughts
of foolish pride. Seek absolution like a promise, re-posses a once lost time. No curtain call a wind that ends, a joke in silence;
rejecting time. A pain you taught me that’s inward holy, protecting gently project in mime. I can’t afford this insurrection, don’t take my body
just drink my
wine. So become a distant stranger, a memory passing by. Anger shadowed; softly spoken, tormented smiles
release your eyes. Don’t be mad I’ve surrendered, I’m not a hero I told you so. You know the clouds have blocked my reason, but your heart
I won’t let go. Open up fields of flowers, realise an innocent time. For now the calm won’t turn to thunder, forsaken body eternal mind.
