In A Void Between Two moments
Whether through
imagination or dream I found myself in a room, unsure how I got there: The
furnishings were minimal; it seemed familiar as the night’s light cascaded
from the hue of jade that deflected off the walls. My vision lying naked
on a cream satin sheet in semi foetal pose…the air warm though far from
hot, my thoughts quiescent within a portrait of her vulnerability. Easing
my way across the lustre of rippled fabric I rested beside her and gently
stroked her hair. She carried a scent of violets that ghosted her siesta
as if a peaceful protectorate watching over the temperate passage of her
every breath. My heartbeat rhymed in synchronicity within the tranquillity
of hers. I ached to feel the softness of the gloss that shaded her
delicate lips, though dared not submit to a persuasion that might disturb
her presence.
In a void between
one moment and the next I had somehow repositioned to the corner of the
room. I must have drifted slightly as I failed to notice that she had
woken from her slumber…wearing a white shirt draped around her curves as
she approached. Raising a finger to her lips, gesturing to me not to
speak. My compliance total, feeling my body awaken as her palms brushed my
chest, before lifting them to my shoulders to support herself, as she
positioned herself across me…tilting her head and smiling as the blue of
her eyes enchanted my gaze.
She kissed me
lovingly, first glancing the tip of my nose then tracing my face, settling
on my lids briefly before turning as she paused to rest on my torso.
Raising her hips and leaning into me she began tracing my body with her
breasts; she guided me, feeling her way as she slipped onto the firmness
of my desire. Content; allowing subtle movements to tease and excite;
skipping her tongue across my skin as if a gentle wind from the wings of a
butterfly disturbing the first warm breeze of summer. I released her
shirt, revealing her beauty and for just one tantalising moment, consented
to the briefest of glimpses, then swathed the fabric around our bodies
cocooning affection from all that lay dormant on the peripheries of this
our union, before easing the garment back, permitting it to skip from her
shoulders. I delighted on the satin glimmer of her splendour, as she raised her diminutive hands above her head, as if wishing through the mass of the ceiling, to connect with stars, seemingly inviting them to witness our glorious connection. Cupping her cheeks as we continued to gently rock and roll, intermittently raising her and pleasuring in the silky wetness of her descent, my gaze overflowing with the slight bound heightened from the sheen deflecting from her breasts, emphasising the firmness of her nipples within a choreography of dance. I could feel a freshness of spring raindrops fall onto my brow as rose petals cascaded from her fingers, dancing as they traced the motion of our love, before settling on moistened skin. She leaned forward pressing her palms onto my chest as her alacrity increased and our sighs began to break through the night’s silence. Spinning her head back as she arched, clasping my hands, pressing them to her breasts as my love exploded in the fullness of her juices and her beautiful release, before relinquishing silence back to the night.
I remember waking
to find myself lying on the bed mirroring her form…my arms wrapped around
her. She raised my hands, placing my fingers to her lips, one by one as
she whispered. “Imagine this, for this is real”
